This is my first time as a soccer mom. All of our games are scheduled during prime dinner making and eating time. So, I am sending out a request to all you who have done this before. What meals have you made on game night that work for your family?
I agree generally, but I like to put in whole meats, like a pot roast (makes great french dips), or a roast chicken (with a poultry rub and a lemon or orange inside), or a pork roast (with bar-b-que sauce makes great pulled pork sandwiches), or bar-b-que ribs, or something like kielbasa with saurkraut. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.
I try to make very quick meals and feed them in fifteen minutes before we have to leave: chicken quesadillas (with the chicken cooked before), mac n cheese (I know! I know!), stir fry with frozen veggies. Oh, and grilled cheese too! Good luck!

i like to make soup early in the day and just heat it up when we get home. or get stuff to make hoagies.
The crockpot is always a lifesaver.
What do you put in your crockpot? I've met very few crockpot meals that I actually like.
